Let’s connect and get ready for the next leg of the journey in ABWA Jessamine Chapter. Last year we focused on getting to know our local league sisters and supporting each other at the local level. We connected and built relationships at home. Now I feel we need to grow relationships with some of our sisters from afar. We have a nation full of ABWA sisters that we need to get to know, so what are we waiting for? We need to learn all the things we can do and resources that we have in using the ABWA website and the Community Connection portal. We need to learn everything that comes with our ABWA membership, not just locally but nationally. Who wants to take this journey with me?
This chapter has come so far in the last couple of years. We have had women write wonderful and enriching books and magazines, graduate from college, start new businesses, and even become the National President of ABWA and the ABWA Business Woman of the Year. We have a chapter full of intelligent, courageous and fabulous women. Let’s see what journeys we can take in this next year and continue to grow and unleash our brilliance. We can achieve so much if we continue to work together and I look forward to the continued great journey to come.
