“Direct Primary Care, the future of affordable and phenomenal health care”

Dr. Penni Vachon is an adult nurse practitioner and the owner of Lowcountry Wellness Center in West Ashley. Dr. Vachon earned both her Masters of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has been awarded the Charleston Choice Award for Best Family Doctor in Charleston. This honor makes her the first non-physician to win the award. Her practice is holistic and integrative, blending the best of Western and Eastern medicine. Dr. Vachon is also a Reiki practitioner, certified in Pain Coping Skills Training, and a certified limited radiographer. She has helped clinicians across the country open integrative practices. At this time, Dr. Vachon is currently creating a conference for nurse practitioners interested in having their own direct primary care practice. She works with fellow business owners to help them save money on healthcare costs for themselves and their employees.

Dr. Vachon will discuss the benefits of direct primary care for the general public as well as for business owners. I will also discuss the various options that are supplemental and supportive of a direct primary care program. Come out and get the 411 on Direct Primary Care and its benefits.
